Glanmors is a treat for me, there is such a variety of cakes, I always go for a cream cake, always fresh and plenty of cream. The bread is sliced or cut your own, the pies are plenty and so much to choose from. It really is a special bakery

Don't be daunted by the long queue, there is a good reason, the bakery is amazing. Just give in and get a cake too, you won't regret it. The service is top notch, long may Glanmors thrive.

This is probably the finest independent traditional bakery in south east Wales. No wonder the local Greggs barely bothers to open its doors. The queue frequently extends into the street, despite the five servers who do a fine job of stopping queue jumpers. I'm a veggie so I can only vouch for the superb quality of their cheese pasties in the savoury department but I can also swear to their excellent cakes and pastries, mea culpa! Definitely worth going the extra mile to get there- Service

Excellent bakery for sandwiches with real ingredients not reconstituted meat etc. Cakes are great and coffee is just fine. All reasonably priced what's not to like .

Always friendly, I was bought up a baker’s son and just the smell of fresh bread and cakes sets me back 60 years, the produce keeps fresh for a lot longer than the supermarket and any leftovers are used for toast or B&B pudding nothing is wasted, yes a few pennies more but what you get is quality, good service, and value for money, I can say without doubt the best bakery I’ve come across in Wales.
- Parking
- Allotted parking for the shop outside, since the tin town was opened the access to Glanmores is more difficult but worth the extra walk (Caerphilly council as we all know is a joke) has no insight to looking after the shops that have paid into the system for many years.

Delicious cakes and super hospitality, very friendly and helpful for advice on sightseeing. It's a pity we are only visiting otherwise we will go back every day. Keep up with the excellent work.
The value comes from the price, the friendly staff and the food. Every time I go to Caerphilly I’ll be popping in for a lamb and mint pasty and a classic sweet pudding. This is my friend and I exchanging laughter and appreciation.
Called in this place by chance,as visiting HSBC due to my Blackwood branch closed.Unbelievable sandwiches freshly made to order. Ham salad baguette to die for. And as for their custard slices, the best ever.Prices so reasonable and staff always so helpful. Great bakery with that lovely continental feel.

We came by because everyone was hungry and we needed it to be a quick bite. Wow!!!!! The food was delicious, rave reviews from all four of us. But the best part for our family was the friendly baker and the lady who helped explain all about the traditional baked goods. We are from the US and didn't know about some of the pastries and we had every question answered with such patience. Our kids loved the sweet treats too. This is 100 the best little bakery we found on our 14 day trip. Thank you for making us feel so special in your town and bakery.- Service

The sandwiches full of fillings, the big cream cakes, the carrot cake and paradise slice so lovely but my favourite has to be the custard slices, ( best in the world). We also love the lardy cake, pasties and the bread.
Happy Christmas and Happy New Year to all the staff at Glanmors and Brilliant Bakers who do an amazing job.
Keep up the good work Russell Regards Caroline x
see you in the new year.
